John Harris 1916-1991   John Harris also wrote under the pseudonym 'Mark Hebden'. In addition to crime fiction, he also wrote war novels under the pseudonym 'Max Hennessy'. His daughter continued the 'Pel' series under the name Juliet Hebden.
