Keith Miles
1940-
Pseudonyms: Conrad Allen and Edward Marston
 

Keith Miles was born in Wales. He attended Oxford University in the 1950s. After Oxford he was a history lecturer for three years. He has written plays, radio dramas, and television series. In 1966, he became a full-time freelance writer. Miles is the creator of:
1. 'Alex Saxon' a professional golfer.
2. 'Bow Street Rivals' series featuring twin detectives Peter and Paul Skillen in early 19th century London (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
3. 'Captain Rawson', an adventurer, spy and soldier in the 17th century (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
4. 'Domesday Mystery' series set in the time of William the Conqueror (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
5. 'George Porter Dillman', a private detective for the Cunard Line (under the pseudonym 'Conrad Allen') (Also published as the 'Ocean Liner Mystery' series as by 'Edward Marston').
6. 'Home Front Detective' series featuring Inspector Marmion and Sergeant Keedy in early 20th century London (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
7. 'Merlin Richards', a Welsh architect.
8. 'Nicholas Bracewell', bookkeeper with an Elizabethan theater company (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
9. 'Railway Detective' series featuring Robert Colbeck, a railway detective in 19th century England (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
10. 'Restoration London Mystery' series set in 17th century England (under the pseudonym 'Edward Marston').
