George Douglas Howard Cole was educated at St. Paul's School and Oxford University. Margaret Postgate, daughter of a university don and sister of the author Raymond Postgate was educated at Roedean School and Cambridge University. They married in 1918. They are the creators of 'Henry Wilson', Superintendent of Scotland Yard. |
