Chris Nickson

Chris Nickson was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire but lived in the United States for nearly 30 years. He is a music journalist, novelist and biographer. He is the creator of:
1. ‘Lottie Armstrong’, a WPC in Leeds.
2. ‘Laura Benton’, a music journalist in Seattle.
3. ‘John Carpenter’, a carpenter and amateur sleuth in 14th century Chesterfield.
4. ‘Tom Harper’, a Detective Inspector in late 19th century Leeds.
5. ‘Dan Markham’, an enquiry agent in 1950s Leeds.
6. ‘Richard Nottingham’, Constable of Leeds in the 1730s.
7. 'Simon Westow', a thief-taker in 19th century Leeds.
