Illona Haus was born in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, Canada. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Fine Arts Degree. She is the creator of ‘Kay Delaney’, a homicide detective in Baltimore, Maryland. She lives in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada.
