Linwoord Barclay was born in the United States but moved to Canada at an early age. He obtained an Honours B.A. in English at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. He worked for the Peterborough Examiner and the Toronto Star. Barclay lives in Burlington, Ontario with his wife. He is the creator of ‘Zack Walker’, a newspaper writer and amateur sleuth.
