Colin Cotterill
1952-
 

Colin Cotterill was born in London. He trained as a teacher and worked as an Education instructor in Israel, a primary school teacher in Australia, a counselor for educationally handicapped adults in the USA, and a university lecturer in Japan. Cotterill lives in Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand. He is the creator of:
1. ‘Dr. Siri Paiboun’, national coroner of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos in the 1970s.
2. 'Jimm Juree', a 34 year old woman, who would like to be a crime reporter in modern Thailand.
