Philip Kerr
1956-
 

Philip Kerr was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He studied at the University of Birmingham and worked for Saatchi and Saatchi as an advertising copywriter before becoming a full-time writer. He also writes children’s books. He is the creator of ‘Bernard Gunther’, a private detective in Berlin during the Nazi Regime.
