Simon Fairfax was born in Worcester. He is an author and former Chartered Surveyor. He also writes western novels. He is the creator of:
1. 'Deal' series featuring Rupert Brett, a professional commercial surveyor and spy.
2. 'Knight and a Spy' series featuring Sir James de Crispere, a knight and a spy for the English king in the 15th century.
