Benjamin Adolph Rodrigues Ottolengui was born in Charleston, South Carolina but lived most of his life in New York City. He was an author and dentist. He is the creator of 'Jack Barnes', a private detective. The novels, with the exception of A Modern Wizard, also feature 'Robert Leroy Mitchel', an amateur detective. |
