Philip Atkey
1908-1985
Pseudonyms: Pat Merriman and Barry Perowne
 

Philip Atkey was born in Wiltshire. He also wrote under the pseudonyms 'Pat Merriman' and 'Barry Perowne. Several of his novels, under the pseudonym 'Barry Perowne', feature 'Arthur J. Raffles', a character created by E.W. Hornung.
