Michael Crichton was born in Chicago. He graduated from Harvard University. He trained as a doctor and graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1969. By the time he graduated, he had already written a bestseller, The Andromeda Strain, and sold it to Hollywood. He directed movies, and was the creator of the television series ER. Crichton also wrote under the pseudonyms 'Jeffery Hudson' and 'John Lange'. Visit also his official site.
