Charlotte MacLeod was born in Bath, New Brunswick,
Canada. In 1923, she emigrated to the U.S. where she became a
naturalized citizen in 1951. She was a staff artist and copy writer at
Stop and Shop Supermarkets in Boston, MA from 1945 to 1952. In 1952,
she began working for an advertising firm, N. H. Miller & Co., Inc.
She began as a copy chief and became a vice president. She worked for
this firm till 1982. She is the creator of:
