 Archer Huntington Mayor has had several jobs before he became a full-time writer. He is a volunteer firefighter for the NewBrook Fire Department in Newfane, Vermont, where he lives with his family. He is also an assistant medical examiner for the state of Vermont, and a part-time patrol officer for the Bellows Falls Police Department.
