Barbara Moore was an author and reporter. She had a masters degree in creative writing and anthropology, and taught journalism at the American University in Washington, D.C., and later at California State University in Northridge. She was married to author John Lee. She is the creator of 'Gordon Christy', a veterinarian and amateur sleuth in New Mexico.
