Kenneth Taylor Perkins was born in Kodaikanal, India to American parents. Around 1904, he moved to San Francisco to live with his grandfather. He graduated from the University of California with a masters degree in English. From 1914 to 1917, he was an assistant instructor in English at Pomona College. He then joined the United States Army. After the war, he started to publish stories and novels. |
