Michael Pronko was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He lives in Tokyo, Japan with his wife. He is an author and professor of American Literature at Meiji Gakuin University. He is the creator of 'Hiroshi Shimizu', a police detective in Tokyo. Visit also this site.
