William Tufnell Le Queux was born in London. He was an art student in Paris but drifted soon into journalism. He worked mainly on the foreign desk of The Globe evening newspaper. In 1893 he turned to full-time writing. Not all of his books are crime novels but the booklist will contain all of his novels. |
