Peter Rabe was born in Germany. In 1938, he immigrated to the US. He also wrote two novels based on the Mannix TV series under the house name 'J.T. MacCargo'. He is the creator of:
1. 'Manny DeWitt', a lawyer turned spy.
2. 'Daniel Port', a gangster.
