 Kerry Tombs was born in Smethwick, West Midlands. He currently lives in Ludlow, Shropshire with his wife. After a career in teaching in both England and Australia, he became a genealogist, lecturer, and bookseller. He is the creator of 'Samuel Ravenscroft', an inspector with the Whitechapel Constabulary in late 19th century Worcestershire. |
