Robert Arellano was born and raised in Summit, New Jersey. He currently lives in Talent, Oregon. He is an author, musician, and educator. Arellano is a founding member of the Literary Advisory Board of the Electronic Literature Organization and founding director of the Center for Emerging Media and Digital Arts at Southern Oregon University. He is the creator of the 'Cuban Noir' series featuring different protagonists in Havana, Cuba.
