R. Barri Flowers 1956-

Ronald Barri Flowers was born in Detroit, Michigan. He currently lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is an author and criminologist. He also writes non-fiction books and novels for young adults. He is the creator of:
1. 'Dean Drake', a Jamaican-Italian American private investigator and ex-homicide detective for the Police Bureau in Portland, Oregon.
2. 'Leila Kahana', a homicide detective and composite sketch artist in Maui County, Hawaii.
3. 'Eddie Naku', a private investigator on Maui, Hawaii.
4. 'Riley Reed', an interior design consultant and amateur sleuth in Cozy Pines, Oregon.
