Michelle Medhat lives in the UK with her husband. She is an author and Director of Operations and Strategic Development at the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange, which she co-founded with her husband. She is the creator of the 'Trusted Thriller' series featuring Sam and Ellie Noor, an MI6 agent and his wife (an earlier version of the series was published in 2012 as Connected: The Call and Connected: The Shift, and in 2018 as What Isn't She Telling).
