Malabika Ray was born and raised in India. She currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden with her husband and daughter. She has done a post graduation in Applied Physics and is Senior Engineering Manager at Volvo Cars. She is the creator of the 'Diary of a Sloppy Sleuth' series featuring Srija Ray, a masters student of physics, Neil Basu, an MI6 agent, and Matthew Holmes, a private investigator in London.
