![]() George Tabori was born in Budapest, Hungary as György Tábori. He was an author, playwright, and theater director. In 1935, he went to London, where he worked for the BBC. In 1947, he emigrated to the U.S. where he wrote screenplays for, among others, Alfred Hitchcock. In 1971, he moved to West Germany and mainly worked in West Berlin, Munich, and Vienna, Austria. He died in Berlin. |
