Camilla Trinchieri was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Her father was an Italian diplomat and her mother an American. She is the creator of:
1. 'Simona Griffo', an Italian immigrant and amateur sleuth in New York City (under the pseudonym 'Camilla T. Crespi').
2. 'Tuscan Mystery' series featuring Nico Doyle, a former NYPD detective in Chianti, Italy.
