Joseph Wambaugh
1937-
 

Joseph Aloysius Wambaugh, Jr. was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From 1954 to 1957, he served in the United States Marines. In the 1960s he earned a B.A. and a M.A. in English from California State College. From 1960 to 1974, he worked for the Los Angeles Police Department. Visit also this site.
