Pseudonym of Alister McAllister. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and educated at the National University of Ireland where he was chief clerk from 1908 till 1914. He served in British Intelligence and in the machine gun corps from 1915 till 1918. He also wrote under the pseudonym 'Anthony Wharton'. |
