Karen Dudley was born in Saint-Sauveur-Marville, France. She currently lives in Winnipeg, Canada with her family. She worked in field biology, paleo-environmental studies, and production art before turning to mystery writing. She is the creator of 'Robyn Devara', a research scientist and amateur sleuth.
