Linda French Mariz was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She currently lives in Bellingham, Washington with her husband. She is an author and former community college instructor, grants administrator, and creative writing teacher. She is the creator of 'Teodora "Teddy" Morelli', a history professor and amateur sleuth in Seattle, Washington.
