Michael John Grist was born in Manchester. He currently lives in London with his wife. He is an author, photographer, and English lecturer at university. He also writes science fiction and fantasy novels and stories. He is the creator of:
1. 'Christopher Wren', a CIA black-ops legend (as 'Mike Grist').
2. 'Girl Zero' series featuring Clara Baxter, a vigilante (as 'Mike Grist').
3. 'Last Mayor' series featuring Amo, a comic book artist who tries to survive in a post apocalyptic world.
4. 'Soul Jacker' series featuring Ritry Goligh, a marine who hijacks enemy minds.
