Basil Heatter was born on Long Island, New York. He was an author and news commentator. During WWII, he served in the Navy as a skipper on a P.T. boat in the Southwest Pacific. He died in Miami, Florida. He is the creator of 'Timothy Devlin', the head of a small but highly respected marine insurance firm. |
