Pseudonym of Marian H. Rogers. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was married twice: to Dee Oliver Herrick and to Trumbull Rogers. She is the creator of 'Abigail Patience Danforth', an heiress and amateur sleuth.
