Frances Parkinson Keyes was born as Frances Parkinson Wheeler in Charlottesville, Viriginia and grew up in Vermont and Boston. When she was eighteen, she married Henry Keyes who later became a U.S. senator. She also wrote romances. She died in New Orleans, Louisiana. |
