Vaseem Khan was born in London. He works at University College London’s Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science. He is the creator of:
1. 'Baby Ganesh Agency' series featuring Ashwin Chopra, a retired inspector turned private investigator and his elephant sidekick.
2. 'Malabar House' series featuring Persis Wadia, India’s first female detective in 1940s Bombay.
