Bob Sloan was born in Muncie, Indiana. He lived on a farm in Morehead, Kentucky with his wife. He was a hod carrier (someone who mixes mortar for masons, and keeps them supplied with bricks or blocks on a job site) before becoming a writer. He is the creator of 'Jesse Surratt', the sheriff of Hawkes County, Kentucky. |
