Wendy Lyn Watson was born in Ohio. She currently lives in Texas with her husband. She teaches constitutional law and politics at the University of North Texas. She is the creator of:
1. 'Mystery a la Mode' series featuring Tallujah Jones, proprietor of Dalliance, an old-fashioned ice-cream parlor in Texas.
2. 'Pet Boutique Mystery' series featuring Izzy McHale, owner of the Trendy Tails Pet Boutique in Merryville, Minnesota (under the pseudonym 'Annie Knox').
