John Baldwin West was born in Washington, D.C. and educated at Howard University and Harvard University. He was an author and physician specialized in the prevention and treatment of tropical diseases. He died in an automobile accident in Kumasi, Ghana. He is the creator of 'Rocky Steele', an ex-prizefighter and private detective. |
