Mary Jo Adamson (M.J. Adamson)

Mary Jo Adamson was born in Moline, Illinois. She began her career as a high school English teacher in Seneca, Illinois. She is the creator of:
1. 'Balthazar Marten and Sixto Gardenas', a homicide detective from the NYPD and a Puerto Rican cop (as 'M.J. Adamson').
2. 'Michael Merrick', a newspaperman in Boston, Massachusetts in the 19th century.
