Robert Barr was born in Barony, Lanark, Scotland. He was a teacher, journalist, editor, and humourist. In 1854, he emigrated with his parents to Canada. In 1881, he relocated to London, England. He also wrote under the pseudonym 'Luke Sharp'. |
