Elizabeth Byrd was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Most of her work is historical fiction. She worked as a radio news writer for CBS, as script writer and radio speaker for WMCA, as associate editor for New York literary agencies and established her own literary agency, Betty Byrd Associates, in 1951. |
