George Douglas Howard Cole was educated at St. Paul's School and Oxford University. Margaret Postgate, daughter of a university don and sister of the author Raymond Postgate was educated at Roedean School and Cambridge University. They married in 1918. They are the creators of 'Henry Wilson', a Superintendent of Scotland Yard. |
