Maurice Buxton Dix was born in Barnet, Middlesex (now London). He was a businessman and author. Most of his life he lived in Canada. Several of his novels feature 'Sexton Blake', a detective modelled on Sherlock Holmes. See also this list for other Sexton Blake authors. |
