Peter Docker was born in Narrogin, Western Australia. He currently lives in the lands of the Kulin Nation, Victoria. He studied creative writing at Curtin University, receiving a BA (English) in 1987, and acting at the Victorian College of the Arts, gaining a Diploma of Dramatic Art (Acting) in 1990.
