Michael Genelin was born in New York City. He is an author and former Los Angeles Head Deputy District Attorney. He also worked as an international consultant in Tanzania, Nepal, Slovakia, South Sudan, Palestine, and other countries. He is the creator of 'Jana Matinova', a commander in the Slovak police force.
