John Glasby

Pseudonyms: A.D. Brent, A.J. Merak and Manning K. Robertson
 

John Stephen Glasby was born in East Retford, Nottinghamshire. He was an author, research chemist, and mathematician. He wrote more than 300 novels and short stories in different genres using many pseudonyms. He is the creator of :
1. 'Johnny Merak', a small-time crook turned private eye in Los Angeles, California.
2. 'Steve Carradine', an agent for British Intelligence (under the pseudonym 'Manning K. Robertson').
