Philip Gooden read English at Oxford and taught for many years. He lives in Bath, England. He is the creator of:
1. 'Geoffrey Chaucer Mystery' series featuring the famous poet as an amateur sleuth in 14th century England (under the pseudonym 'Philippa Morgan' except for the last book).
2. 'Nick Revill', an actor in Shakespearean times.
3. 'Tom Ansell', a London lawyer in 19th century England.
