Douglas Malcom Jackson Clark was born in Lincolnshire. He was educated at the University of London. During World War II, he served with the Royal Horse Artillery. He is the creator of 'George Masters', a Scotland Yard Detective Superintendent. He also wrote under the pseudonym 'James Ditton'. |
