Mark Dawson was born in Lowestoft. He studied law at Manchester University. He practiced law before becoming a writer. He is the creator of:
1. 'Atticus Priest', a private investigator.
2. 'Beatrix Rose', an assassin.
3. 'Isabella Rose', an assassin and daughter of Beatrix Rose.
4. 'John Milton', a problem solver for the British government.
