Sue Grafton was born in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1961, she graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in English literature. She wrote novels from the age of 22. In 1982 her first crime novel was published, introducing 'Kinsey Milhone', a private investigator. In 2008 she was awarded the Cartier Diamond Dagger Award for sustained excellence in the genre of crime writing. Visit also this site. |
